The Whitaker team sought a distinctive award design to honor an individual who modeled throughout the year, the company's Core Values: Respect, Balance, Professionalism, Performance, Integrity and Teamwork.  We worked closely with Bruce Whitaker, President, and his key staff to create a number of design conceptss.  The selected design was custom-crafted from solid black marble, then we added a solid bronze clad to the upright "W".  The program started in 1999 and is still going strong today ... eleven recipients have been honored for their conduct and contributions that, in turn, inspire superior customer service by all Whitaker staff.

Soon after the intial award was presented, we were asked to create a lobby display that would feature a lighted presentation of their "Whitaker Way Award" that is bestowed to their Employee of the Year each January.  The crystal backdrop features their logo and their Core Principles ... light emanating from inside the base not only highlights the award but adds a glow to their brand and Principles.  Each year the recipient's name is added on an engraved brass plate.   The artistry of the presentation visibly reinforces the honored recipients and is a daily reminder of Whitaker's principles to employees, clients and visitors.
