HISTORY: Began full career in sculpting in 1984 with a series of porcelain hunting figures Through the years has progressed to large monumental bronzes beginning with a commission to do a 7-foot eagle for the Texas Korean War Memorial which sits on the capitol grounds in Austin.
ARTISTIC FOCUS: Realism with a strong focus on detail. Sculpting is focused mostly on human figures and wildlife.
NOTED WORKS: Several bronze portraits of executives and well known businessmen such as Robert Moody of Galveston, Texas, an eagle for the Texas Korean War Veterans, a large eagle for Stephen F. Austin High School, wolves for Langum Creek High School, a larger than life cougar for Cypress Creek High School, a lifesize tiger for East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Texas, and a 12-foot long roadrunner for Lubbock Christian University. He has also produced many awards... from M.P.V. awards for Major League Baseball, to awards for celebrities and private organizations that have honored them.
